The Green & Gold activities for the year start with the annual meeting held in April and ends in October with our Fall Festival dinner and speaker. Activities of the Midwest Regional Hosta Society and the American Hosta Society are included in the calendar to offer additional opportunities for bonding with fellow hosta enthusiasts from outside the local area.
Midwest Regional Hosta Society Winter Symposium
This year the event is late February. It features speakers, hosta auction and a hostatality social. Details are listed on their website.
2nd Chit Chat
Our second Chit Chat of the season will be at Jaci Micke in Hortonville. Thurs July 17th, 2025, 6-8 PM.

Annual Meeting
Green & Gold annual meeting is held at Green Bay Botanical Gardens. It includes the business of the Society, speaker and door prizes. This year's speaker will be Jen Peterson.
Midwest Regional Hosta Society Convention
This year the MRHS will be co-hosting a convention with the American Hosta Society. It features garden tours, plant auction, Hosta Show, vendor sales, speakers, seedling competition, and Hostatality. It kicks off with a special Thursday evening event. Check the MRHS Website for details.
American Hosta Society Convention
This year the AHS will be co-hosting a convention with the Midwest Regional Hosta Society in Peoria, IL. Check the "Hosta Double Feature" website for details.
3rd Chit Chat
Wed. 5 to 8 PM at Green Bay Botanical Garden, 2600 Larsen Rd, Green Bay. Stroll among late summer blooms and take in the beauty of the Green Bay Botanical Gardens for our last Chit Chat of the season. Green & Gold members free admission the day for the event. Gather in the Cornerstone Foundation Hall East for light snacks and refreshments.
Chit Chat & Plant Sale
Our first Chit Chat & Plant Sale will be at the gardens of Dennis & Amy Russell in De Pere. Chit Chat & Sale will be Thursday June 12th. 6-8 PM. Member's only plant sale starts at 4 PM

Fall Plant Sale
Our fall plant sale will be at Larry's Bellevue Gardens. It is joint plant sale with the Bay Area Daylily (BAD) Buds. The Green & Gold will have numerous hosta varieties for sale.

Fall Harvest Fest
Oct. 18, Noon at Green Bay Botanical Garden. It is our final get together for the year and provides a chance for members to mingle at the end of the season. Members will enjoy a light meal followed by a speaker.
