Calendar of Events

The Green & Gold activities for the year start with the annual meeting held in April and ends in October with our Fall Festival dinner and speaker. Activities of the Midwest Regional Hosta Society and the American Hosta Society are included in the calendar to offer additional opportunities for bonding with fellow hosta enthusiasts from outside the local area.
Midwest Regional Hosta Society Winter Symposium
This year the event is late February. It features speakers, hosta auction and a hostatality social. Details are listed on their website.
2nd Chit Chat
Our second Chit Chat of the season will be at Gina Burgert. Date: July 16..

Annual Meeting
Green & Gold annual meeting is held at Green Bay Botanical Gardens. It includes the business of the Society, speaker and door prizes. Speaker: Rob Zimmer
Midwest Regional Hosta Society Convention
This year at the convention in Madison, WI the MRHS will be celebrating their 50th anniversary. The convention features garden tours, plant auction, Hosta Show, vendor sales, speakers, seedling competition, and Hostatality. In addition to a convention gift plant, attendees will received a special commemorative gift (gift is one per household). Check the MRHS Website for details.
American Hosta Society Convention
This year the convention will be in Dublin, OH. Check the "Buckeye Hosta Fever" website for details.
3rd Chit Chat
Our third and final Chit Chat, will be hosted in the gardens of Jill & Scott Reuss in Wausaukee, WI. Jill runs Concordia Gardens and Perennials from her gardens, so there will be an opportunity to do some plant shopping! Note extended Chit Chat hours.
Chit Chat & Plant Sale
Our first Chit Chat & Plant Sale will be at the gardens of Kyle Gigot in Ashwaubenon.. Date: June 4th. 6-8 PM. Member's only plant sale starts at 4 PM

Fall Plant Sale
Our fall plant sale will be at Larry's Bellevue Gardens. It is joint plant sale with the Bay Area Daylily (BAD) Buds. The Green & Gold will have numerous hosta varieties for sale.
