Calendar of Events

The Green & Gold activities for the year start with the annual meeting held in April and ends in October with our Fall Festival dinner and speaker. Activities of the Midwest Regional Hosta Society and the American Hosta Society are included in the calendar to offer additional opportunities for bonding with fellow hosta enthusiasts from outside the local area.
Midwest Regional Hosta Society Winter Symposium
This year the event is late February. It features speakers, hosta auction and a hostatality social. Details are listed on their website.
2nd Chit Chat
Our second Chit Chat of the season will be at Tammy Borden in New London. Date and Time TBD.

Annual Meeting

Green & Gold annual meeting is held at Green Bay Botanical Gardens. It includes the business of the Society, speaker and door prizes.
Midwest Regional Hosta Society Convention
The 2024 MRHS Convention - "Winnebago Haho" - is in Fond du Lac, WI. It features garden tours, plant auction, Hosta Show, vendor sales, speakers, seedling competition, and Hostatality. It kicks off with a special Thursday evening event. Check the MRHS Website for details.
American Hosta Society Convention
The convention will be held in Marlborough, MA. Check the "A Whale of a Time" website for details.
3rd Chit Chat
Looking for a host for our third and final Chit Chat of the year.
Chit Chat & Plant Sale
Our first Chit Chat & Plant Sale will be at the gardens of Cheryl Hoffman, Greenleaf. Chit Chat & Sale will be Wed June 26th. 6-8 PM. Member's only plant sale starts at 4 PM

Fall Plant Sale
Our fall plant sale will be at Larry's Bellevue Gardens. It is joint plant sale with the Bay Area Daylily (BAD) Buds. The Green & Gold will have numerous hosta varieties for sale.

Fall Harvest Fest
Our 2024 Harvest Fest is TBD It is our final get together for the year and provides a chance for members to mingle at the end of the season. Members will enjoy a light meal followed by a speaker.
